unusual cell phone display

Post by Fueler »

I have 4 pages that are FUBAR on a cell phone. Same on Android or Apple.
What is weird is that the cell phone shows a version that is 3 years out of date.

I have re uploaded several times with no change.
I have re uploaded the whole web site with no change
I have checked my host files for discrepancies but is all in order.
I have been going through the pages in question comparing them to my other non problem pages for differences but have failed to find anything.
I have run the page check and show no errors.
I have deleted all history, refreshed and rebooted the cell phones. no change

I can't find anywhere or reason why that the cell phone could be grabbing a 3 year old page version.
Oh, and everything is all good on any desktop or laptop we have and the neighbors. It just the phones.

Anyone run into such a thing?

Check this page on desktop versus your cell phone. https://www.koehlerinjection.com/Enderl ... ction.html

This is most likely a problem with the browser cache.

Apart from being far too small to read without doing a lot of screen resizing on the mobile, the desktop & mobile versions look the same to me.

Sounds like Pablo is right.

Probably right, I did the history but forgot about the cache.
Geeze, don't those things self update?
