I've been testing PageSpeed on some sites I build and there's always a warning to "enable text compression".
Does WB have this functionality? If yes, where is it / how do I use it?

I am not sure what 'text compression' is.
But WWB has many optimization options in Tools -> Option -> HTML
Also, you can 'compress' text by using one type of formatting for all text.
