Full page graphic

Post by bjlolmaugh »

I am looking for an extension that allows for an expandable full page graphic like shown on this website: https://northcentralmalteserescue.org
Any suggestions?
Sincerely,

You do not need an extension for this.
This is a background image set to 'cover'. Many of the available templates use this feature.

Thanks Pablo.

I know you don't support older versions of WWB, but can you recommend an extension to use instead of using a background image set to "cover"?

You do not need an extension. It's a standard feature which is also available in version 11.

I guess I don't know how to implement this feature.
Can you point me in the right direction on how to learn this?

1. Add a background image to a layer or layout grid.
2. Set the background size to 'cover'

Hi Pablo,

I appreciate your help. I've added a Layer, then added an image to the layer. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to set the background size to Cover. How do I do that?
Sincerely,

The image needs to be the background of the layer. You don't want to insert an image into the layer.

1. Double click to open the layer properties
2. Click on Style tab
3. Under Backround, select image
4. Click on folder to navigate to image you want to use.
5. Set Repeat to "Do not repeat"
6. Set Size to Cover.

My mistake. I didn't look at who provided the helpful feedback.... I assumed it was Pablo.
