Base Folder when publish in my Local Computer

Post by SalvadorAlejandro »

I really do not understand why, but when publish my web page, first I need to do it into a local folder, then to charge all files into a sub folder of the cPanel, and then move all the fales to the final folder in cPanel. Well, th question is, a folder named "base" is created . What should I do with it, put it into the folder of cPanel?
Thanks in advance

The question you have asked is unclear to be honest. It is clear that you have problems expressing it with proper english but use google translate if you have any problem communicating. I think you are asking if you can directly upload your published file in a base folder directly from wwb right? If that is the case then you can do it from publish then select the folder you want the files to be published. It can be _htdocs or public_html generally but you can name your folder.

For more details about publishing check this link:

'base' is probably the name of a jQuery UI theme you have used in your project?
This folder should be placed in the same folder as the page that is using it.

Sorry may be to much innecesary background.
When publishing to my PC, I find this:
Local PC
Publishing Folder
base folder (subfolder images (thumbnails), jquery-ui.min.css, preview.png, theme.css)
subfolder images
html files and some others.

My question is: Should I copy the folder "base" to the cPanel? or what is the function of this "base" folder?
Thanks again

Yes, if it was generated then you need to upload it to your server. This folder is generated due to you using some jquery UI in your project. WB is not going to generate files if you don't need them.

it should not be necessary to publish locally first. make sure you have your FTP client pointing to the correct folder on your server and just publish to the server. for me the folder is /public_html all the necessary files and folders are published there by wizzy.
