Freelance?

Hi
I purchased WYSIWYG18 in the hope I could put together a web site for my holiday home hiring. Unfortunately what I am needing is beyond my capabilities. I was wondering if any of the gurus on here worked freelance. I am wanting a set up that will accept bookings and update a calendar showing availability. I wanted the site to send emails when bookings are made, and accept payments. I have managed to set up galleries and information pages but I don't know where to start with the interactive stuff. Is this possible with WYSIWYG? or will it require specific script writing? If so does any one take this on as freelance work?
