I was updating a few webpages, which were created with earlier versions of WWB. I use a Master page to display a header, menu, and a footer. The Master page also includes a background image, so that other pages can show this image as well (if wanted).
On some of the content pages, I include a separate background image. Up until ver 18 WWB, the background image of the content page would be visible over the Master page background. It seems that now this is no longer the case?
I created a very simple demo project, which illustrates what I mean. The Master page and Index page each contain their own backgrround images, but both the workspace, and the preview, display only the image of tne Master page. I must be doing something obviously wrong, but I tried various background setting without success.
Thoughts?

Maybe I didn't have the share "with anyone set" properly.

Sorry about that... I hate it when that happens!

Re: Background image not displayed using master page?
I could be wrong here but my understanding is that what you are placing on a master page will be on every page that uses it. So you set the background to an image then that image will appear on all the other pages using that master page. That's sort of the point of it. That way if you change something, you only have to change it in one spot and it will affect all of the other pages.
I'm not aware of a way to override the background of the master page and use the page background instead. Pablo would know if this is possible.
You could clone the master page and change the background on the cloned page to use on the other pages that are different. Otherwise, you would have to add some css code to the pages you want different.

Re: Background image not displayed using master page?
Not at all, Ron. As usual, you hit the nail on the head. My apologies, I found the 'problem'... me.I could be wrong here...
I actually have two different master pages: one for the Index page which doesn't include a 'Home' button (which would be redundant), and a second for the other content pages. The one master page which 'works', has a transparent background, so whatever background image is placed in the content page IS displayed (no surprise). I inadvertently mixed up the two master pages, and it quickly went downhill from there.
Thanks for looking and reminding me of the solution. Sometimes I can get tunnel vision!
