Published to server

Post by Nitrid-2 »

I had two months of trouble with the hosting service Register.com I purchased in December after paying for a years hosting. In frustration I purchased a new hosting service with much better support, and tr54asferred all my domains.

Now I can publish my website files, BUT there is another problem What I create in WWB looks good in the editor, and it looks good when I preview. but when I view my url online it appears NOTHING like the, test page I created in WWB editor

The first image shows my TEST website as it appears within the WWB editor https://ibb.co/ZJpFfRN

The second image shows my TEST website as it appears when I "preview" https://ibb.co/68Zm538

The last image shows my TEST website when I type the url into my browser https://ibb.co/q9CYwcy

As you can see it looks a complete mess it removed my border, background colour, and moved elements away from the position I placed them in, is there a problem with WWB editor??

There is no difference between previewing and publishing. They both generate the same files. Do you have a link to your demo site?

Usually, this indicates that not all files have been publish.
Make sure you select 'publish all files' .
If that does not work then check the publish log for errors.

@Crispy68
Yes you are correct there is no difference between the editor and the preview that is why I included a screenshot of the actual uploaded page in the browser but if you wish to see directly go to tshandsales.com

Your website looks ok for me.
Maybe you need to clear your browser cache?

Yes my FTP settings were set to

PUBLISH: Entire website
and
FILES: publish all files

Is this the "LOG" of which you suggest? see Image https://ibb.co/whmvkv4

When you say you checked do you mean you typed in the url and it appeared as it does in the browser??

@ Nitrid-2

Yes I typed the URL into the browser and looked ok to me

I agree with others that you probably need to clear your browser cache
