Problems Adapting an Existing Template

Post by stephenmolnar »

Although I've been using computer in my work since the early 1960's, I am new to the wysiwygwebbuider.

I am attempting to adapt the 2018nwisiwygwebbuilder t template for a new web site. I gotten along quite well,so I thought, until several problems occurred.

The content page holder-does not expand to accommodate the text. Further, although I have set the herder, footer and page edges to the front and the content place holder to the back the header and footer are still transparent to the text and the scrolling does not go to the last line of the text.

I would be most apprecte of assistance in resolving thee problems.

Thanks in advance.

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

Thank you for your reply.

I have placed the files that you requested in my Dropbox account. Here is the URL for their retrieval:

https://www.dropbox.com/t/mI0HhThM6oDAsOW7

I have included the file Bibliography. This file is the content of the web page that I sent. It illustrated the truncation of the file in the web page.

I deleted the original content from the Template and substituted my content.

I really appreciate your assistance.

Thanks in advance.

I have looked at your project but I do not see anything wrong.
Can you please explain what you expected to happen?
Which part of the page or project does not work, in your opinion?

Than you for the quick response.

The last two entries on the Bibliography pager were cut off:

James W. King and Stephen P. Molnar, Structural Connotations of Bioactivity in a Series of Organophosphinates, Int. J. Quantum Chem., 105, 809 (2005)

Stephen P. Molnar and James W. King, Docking Parameters of Organophosphorus Compounds with Acetylcholinesterase, Presented at the 46 th Sanibel Symposium, February 2006, to be published in the Int J. Quantum Chemistry

When I looked at the locally published site in my Firefox browser. The last entry was:

James W. King and Stephen P. Molnar, A Study of Ring-Substituents Influence on Pharmacological Activity in a Series of Phenethylamine- Psychedelics, Int. J. Quantum Chem., 100, 1114 (2004).

For me, it looks like this. Is this not correct?

Image

Note: the footer is fixed. So, it will overlap the last part of the page.
If this is what you are referring to then make sure that you add some extra content (for example a transparent shape) so the browser can scroll further.
