I started working with blocks and have a newbie question
How the heck do I add a image or text into a block? When I try to select inside the block, I only
am able to select the block itself.

Re: Putting images in blocks
A block is basically just template, so it can be anything. You can modify it like any other object(s).
You did not mentioned which block you have added, but most blocks were made with layout grids.
In that case, to add an image simply drag & drop it into the grid.
If you need further assistance then please try to be more specific, because the software has thousands of options and millions of possible combination that makes it difficult to guess which ones you have used.

Re: Putting images in blocks
I added a block called services - it had 6 blocks (plus 1 at the top for the heading)
I added 2 more blocks to the left ,so there are now 8 blocks. The two new blocks are blank on the end.
I did figure out to copy and past the text from one of the original blocks, and was able to drag it over to one of the new blocks.
I then changed the text.
I also figured out - add image at the top, click and drug the image placeholder into the block, I then selected my image.
Everything looks great in the program then when I preview it, my new texts and images are way down on my web page, not near where they are showing to be in the program.
I am assuming that even though it looks like I am pasting and adding the text and images into the blocks - it is not really. Almost like its creating a new block underneath and going into there, then that block bounces down to the bottom of my page when it renders.

Re: Putting images in blocks
If the block you have used was made with a layout grid, then you can put any object inside a layout grid by dragging it into the grid.
If you want to re-arrange the items in the grid then you can do this with the arrange tools.
The use of layout grids is explained here:
https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/layoutgrid_part1.html
https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/layoutgrid_part2.html
If you need more help, then please share a DEMO project so I can see exactly what you have done.
Once again, I would like to note that a 'block' is just a template. It is made up out of different (standard) elements. You can fully customize the layout after you have dropped the block on the page.

Re: Putting images in blocks
Ok, thanks for your help so far.
I downloaded your sample project: "layout grid"
I opened the grid and added a blank box on the end
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-4xJKJ ... sp=sharing
Then I went up to the top of wysiwyg (the program); selected add image
Created placeholder in new, blank box. Picked a random image to put in placeholder
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-3bAXa ... sp=sharing
everything looks good in the program.
I test published the result and the picture is nowhere near where it shows in the program.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-395Lz ... sp=sharing
What am I missing? Kinda defeats the whole wysiwyg name of the program.
Thanks again. Sorry for being so dumb. I'm an old dog trying to learn new tricks and it doesnt come easy for me.
(PS. I did try to learn this on my own, I've been scouring the web for 2 days and asking here was a last resort for me.)

Re: Putting images in blocks
I cannot access the images. Can you please make them public?
Did you try the templates? This may help you to get started.

Re: Putting images in blocks
Are you sure the image is inside the layout grid and not behind it?
Please see "Adding Objects"
