Carousel not working when published (but works on preview)

I have a Carousel with 21 images. All works perfect when i preview the page, but when I publish nothing happens in the carousel. It's static and doesn't switch slides neither on its own nor when i press on any of the navigation buttons.
On another note, i wanted to upload the project to demonstrate the problem. Since it is a heavy project i wanted to start a new project with just this page. When i tried to import this page into the new project, instead of getting the site tree, i'm asked to locate the file in a file manager. I know in the past it was very easy and was been able to get the page tree from previous projects and just select my page, but I am not getting that now. Please help.

In general there is no difference between "Preview" and "Published" but when it doesn't work after "Published" in means that you not all files are on the server this is the css and jquery/javascripts. Please ensure all files are uploaded and try again.

okay, i managed to find out what i was doing wrong re importing the page. I succeeded in that. I still need to find out why the carousel is not working once published even though it works perfect in preview. I will shortly upload the project file to share.

As my previous reply did you publish "All" files to the server this includes all css, jquery (external files) not just the images. Please ensure all files are uploaded to there correct path, folder (if used for files) and try again.

@BaconFries - Thanks. Yes, stupid mistake on my part. i was only publishing modified files. Problem solved.
