Responsive menu transparancy

Post by izzy »

My dropdown menu at the 320 breakpoint drops over the text i have on my home page. The menu's style is meant to have a solid, orange colored background. It indeed has an orange colored background but the color is not opaque, but rather it is semi-transparent. So, one sees both the menu and the text behind the menu. This makes it almost impossible to read the menu as the text below it interferes. How does once keep the dropdown menu solid (opaque) so it covers the text behind it completely? I do not see any transparency field in the styles dialogue box for the menu.
Thanks for any help.

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

Thanks . here is the demo project:
www.impwriter.com/menutest71623.wbs
the page is TEST-MENU-ON-HOME

The problem is when in 320 breakpoint mode and previewed, the responsive menu drops over the text behind it, and because the orange background is semi-transparent you see the text behind it together with the menu making it very difficult to read. i need the dropdown menu to be solid and opaque to cover the text behind it so it can be easily read.
Thanks.

p.s. i just realized that i erased my real home page when i accidentally published the demo project

The menu is not (semi) transparent. It is in the background so the rest of the content is displayed on top.
So, if this is not what you want then you will need to move the menu to the front with the arrange tools.

Pablo, thank you. How stupid of me to have assumed the menu would automatically be ordered on top. Thanks for the easy solution.
