Save Page as Template

Sorry, probably a stupid question. I've read loads about templates but I can't find how to to 'save page as a template'.
How is it done ?

Go to file--> save as template

Thanks but that saves the "project". I want to save just one page.

You cannot save one page as a template. A template is always the full project.
So, if you want only one page then remove all other pages from the project first and then use 'Save as template'.
