Panel menu not working

Post by Manchester_man »

Hi all,

I have an issue, the panel menu works in preview mode, but not when published - nothing happens when I click the button.

I assume some kind of code/script isn't being published. I publish all files for the specific page to a local folder, then copy the published files to the root folder in my 1&1 Ionos control panel. Has always worked previously.

Any ideas please?

Thanks
Richard

I've done an inspect element and it says failed to load the resource -

jquery-3.7.0.min.js:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
at wb.panel.min.js:8:63
privacy_policy:15 Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined
at privacy_policy:15:1

Any ideas what I've done wrong?
Thanks

Fixed - I needed to publish via SFTP direct to 1&1 Ionos, rather than via local folder. Not sure why, but it;'s worked.

Cheers

Why aren't you directly publishing via the built-in publish tool? This also works with 1&1 Ionos!

I know, I should. I used to many years ago but then it stopped working (1&1 side I think) so I went to alternative methods and never tried it again, until now, and it works !!!
