Page HTML

Post by suomi48 »

I have set my description, keywords, and categories as I want them. However, when I Google my keywords and categories, they do not appear in a Google search. Is there a better way to have Google recognize and find my website?

Well...there are a lot of factors that play into this.

1. How long has it been since you've uploaded your website with this info? It takes time for your site to get crawled by Google.
2. Do you have a Google webmaster account? If not, get one. Submit a sitemap. Same for Bing/Yahoo.
3. Unless you have a niche website, there is likely many other websites in front of you when a search is performed. You may be in searches but on page 15.

As @crispy68 has stated that there are a lot of factors that play into this, and the details he said is correct.

From my expertise here is your website in the google search

Along with that usually search engines crawl a web page even if there is a sitemap or not or there is a robot.text or not unless this are restricted it will automatically crawl pages and index them but without having those might cause cache problems so do not take the automation as granted or it will bring trouble, try to use search console of google.

Another thing is your website needs at least a basic amount of SEO guideline to follow so at least the search engines can understand what your website is about. What the contents are how can people relate to what you have written. The search engines their bots and algorithms try to understand things just like a human would. So you have to be straight forward and you have to follow the guideline for the proper seo or else the search engines will not give you the favour of the KEYWORD you are trying to achieve the position for.

As you mentioned about keyword optimization which is a very analytical process takes time accurate targeted and proper content along with proper SEO setting in the html and even marketing. No website goes to top with a keyword every day because same keywords many new sites also are competing.

If I suppose your keyword is limited to your domain name then optimize it in the most basic level which WWB already has. The h1 title the description the content and keywords with seo friendly repeated seo optimized content writing. If you do these basic stuffs atleast for the homepage then possibilities are you might get at least your own domain names keyword to rank you at the top on your domains name. But if you fail to optimize then people will search and no one will be able to find if the site even exist usually people dont look for 14 pages to look for a site. They will look for the top 10 sites with that keyword and close the browser if not found as usual. So you have to optimize it in that basic level for sure.

Have you claimed you "Google My Business Page"? I have seen clients in small markets go from unfindable to top listings based on claiming the business listing. Also do the same for Bing, Yahoo, and Apple Maps. This is most impactful for local search.
