Forms

Post by Trugmaker »

My Contact form has all necessary entries, but when I receive the email it has the senders IP Address? This is of no interest, can it be removed?

In the Form->Advanced--> Miscellaneous-->Include IP in form data <<<<< uncheck Note although not relevant to you it might at sometime help you block a IP if it comes from a spammer who is filling in the form.

While I was unchecking the above BF, I noticed 'Do not allow URL's in form data' - I get a lot of spam (of course) will checking this box create any 'side-effects'? Delays etc?

It shouldn't cause any delays in processing its main purpose is to prevent urls that are harmful/malicious being typed and then sent.
