Background will not publish

Hello there friends,

I'm not new to this software and I"m stumped on a very simple issue. My software is up to date.

My simple color background will not publish no matter what I do. I have only two object on page, a shape and a text box with text. Looks good in preview but color does not show after publishing on either my laptop (MS) or Iphone.

How are you adding the background is it a image or just a simple colour?. Do you have a url/link so it can be viewed so to take a look at the source.

If it looks good when previewed but not after you published the files, then it usually means there are files missing on the server or you did not upload all of the changed files. It is best to do a full re-publish of all files. There is no difference between previewing your site and publishing. The same files are generated for both.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I've been using this software for many years so I'm good on publishing but there is a issue here. There doesn't seem to be any conflicts as I have almost noth on the page. All files are easily uploaded and site as been fully published dozens of times and still won't publish backaground color. I'm probably missing something IDK.

So I just noticed that my site is publishing wierd in that it's upload to address .index and also no index just regular web address. When you access it at the .index the background does NOT show but the regular address shows the blue background. This is odd.

On both I'm having problems getting simple csss menu to render properly.

In fact, all four of the menus I've tried are uploadinh correctly but non of them render properly. I'm at a loss how to fix this.

Looking at the source all looks ok as all css files are there for the css menu and the background (background-color: #2D4577;)
This is what I see...or did see. It looks like you have changed the css menu to the mega menu!. I think you have caused a issue by uploading two indexs file one that uses the css menu and one using the mega menu. Can you please remove what you do not wish to use and clear it from the server so not to cause conflicts. Can you also please stick to one menu at a time so we can properly try to help!
