video player opacity

Post by davidpratthk »

Is there a video / media / youtube player extension free or paid that has an opacity function?

All I have tried have only a solid block appearance.

Did you try the 'opacity' property?

Most objects have an 'opacity' property.
You can access it via the Property Inspector.

WEll I do not see it in the Video (Media Player) and Video Gallery toolbox items
I found it in the YouTube toolbox item but that is my last choice I would use.

is there a stand alone player that will do the job?

I take it you mean Plyr Video Player.
I have not used wysiwyg since v14 so hope Plyr is available as stand alone. The YT and Vimeo are not changed from before by much and I didnt get on with them then. They appear glichy in preview still.

Thanks for the help. I will get on with it.
