Is my canonical link correct???

Post by Trugmaker »

For reason unknown, in the Google search, suddenly I have two entries www.trugmakers.co.uk and trugmakers.co.uk which I understand is frowned upon by google.
To prevent this, in page properties on every page, in the Canonical tab URL: which is currently empty, should I type the various page names (as examples):-
https://trugmakers.co.uk/classic-Trugs.html
https:/trugmakers.co.uk/AboutTrugs.html etc.

Please indicate if this is correct, and not send me a link to google help on the subject as I have done that and don't understand their wordage (I'm 72 and ageing fast) :)
Never complain about getting old, the alternative is far worse!
