Change video background for image in 480 breakpoint
Hi Pablo and WWB:rs. Having a videobackground in a Layout Grid that works good except for slow in mobile phones. The smallest breakpoint is 480 pxl and I want to have a static image here for speed up the loading time. Is that possible with the WWB tools.

Re: Change video background for image in 480 breakpoint
I'm sorry, that is not possible.
The reason for that is that adding a background video does not only change the style but also HTML structure.
And the HTML structure is the same for all breakpoints.

Hi Pablo... I was wondering about a little workarround to this issue and how it would affect the html and loading speed:Pablo wrote: Fri Nov 17, 2023 11:20 am I'm sorry, that is not possible.

If I copy the Layout Grid in the 480 bp that contains the background video and change this to a background image. Then I hide the Layout Grid that contains the video. After that I hide the new Layout Grid with image from the other breakpoints? Will this work ok you think without loading time for the video in 480 pxl?
A small wonder to... Many years ago I bought an extension from the late great [rz] R.I.P
But wonder if you have any experience of this extension or advices because what happend?

Even if you hide the video it will still be loaded. Hiding it only affects whether you see it or not.

I'm sorry, I have no experience with this extension. But it may use a script to switch the video on / off.
But the structure of the HTML will still be the same, whether you hide the video or not.
