Problem web view Chrome & Edge

Post by MarcoGöli »

I created the website with a layout grid and a fixed master page. Now the website is not displayed in full screen size in all browsers. On iPhone iOS Safari, Opera, Firefox and Brave 👍🏻. Chrome and Edge have a problem displaying the page in full screen width. What can I do or is there a script that will display this correctly in Chrome and Edge.

Greetings Marco

In the Chrome browser, only half of the screen is filled. Everything on the right is white. Some gallery images are also displayed too large. But I cannot control this myself.

The issue is related to your settings.

For example, it looks like the page alignment is set to 'center in browser window'. This is not correct.

If you need further assistance, then please share demo project.

Yes, the layout grid is always centered. This means I have to set the setting to left. Why do only Chrome and Edge respond to this? The others still display it correctly.

Note that I cannot see what you have done based on the published page (HTML), because the software has thousands of options and millions of possible combinations.
So, there is no way to know which options you have used by looking at the HTML only.

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

Please set the 'page alignment to 'do not center this page'
Also, place all objects inside the page boundaries.
