***SOLVED*** 19.0.3 Troubles

Post by Curt »

I just downloaded 19.0.3 which led to 2 big problems.

1) When I upload maintenance, I get a message from WYSIWYG reading "Exception thrown in Destructor - Disk Full...". The material does upload. I cleared out much in my web host's server, but the message continues.

2) When I try to save my new maintenance, I get a message from WYSIWYG reading "Access denied because the application does not have enough permissions, or another file has the application opened and locked. In order to close WYSIWYG, I have to cancel my request to save changes. Rebooting my computer does not help.

HELP!

"Exception thrown in Destructor - Disk Full..."
I am not familiar with this error, so it looks like it is generated by your system

Maybe your local disk is full or the software cannot access the disk?
- make sure there is enough free space on your local computer
- make sure there is enough free space on the server
- clear the temporary system folder: %temp%. Or you can also use disk cleaner.
- add webbuilder.exe to the exception list of your firewall, virus scanner and Windows ransomware protection
I get a message from WYSIWYG reading "Access denied because the application does not have enough permissions, or another file has the application opened and locked.
This also seems to indicate that there is an issue system permissions.
Please add webbuilder.exe to the exception list of your firewall, virusscanner and Windows ransomware protection

Problem solved. Thank you, Pablo.

Placing webbuilder.exe in the firewall exception list solved both issues.

Thanks, BaconFries; I now see that.

Apparently with each new update, the latest webbuilder.exe may have to be added to my firewall exception list.

True, this is because each update no matter how small it is is seen as a "New" version. So your AV/Firewall/Ransomware doesn't understand this a will throw errors/false positives etc till you add it again to the exception list. I have marked this as ***SOLVED***
