*** SOLVED *** publish data gone

I'm still on wwb 17, I just opened program to update site and when i went to publish, none of my saved sites are there. the publish.dat file is still in the system folder but only publish option is local computer

Maybe you have updated the system folder in Tools -> Options -> Files & Folder?
In that case, the software will be looking for the publish.dat file in that folder.

I have not updated any options, I havnt used then program in about 4 weeks. When i go to Tools -> Options -> Files & Folder I have :
C:\Users\iamaf\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder.
The publish file is there and I can open it with notepad but none of my site show up in the drop down when I go to publish a site

If you open the file in notepad, do you still see all items?

Maybe the file or folder is blocked by your firewall or virus scanner?

Note that version 17 has not been updated for more than a year, so it does not suddenly stop working if nothing has changed.
It still works the same as 4 week ago.

If the list is empty then either the file is not in the right location or it is not accessible.

Somehow onedrive took over my document folder and somehow changed the path. Finally got it fixed....gonna upgrade to 19 soon
