Based on the error, I think there is an error in the remote path setup.

Please note if you have saved the project (the .wbs) in WWB19 then you will not be able to open in WWB16 as it is not possible.

I did check one thing .. I used the webportal to upload my files and the site worked of coarse ...I then used wysiwyg to edit the site and make changes then used the Publish tool to upload the changes and it then worked.. that told me my path was correct, for some reason it wont add the files until they were once there..

I can roll my system back with a image before the install

Nope Im correct you have a problem with v19 publish feature, on the first upload.... after the files are there changes can be made...it will not allow it until the files were there first at least with dreamhost.

Just ran a different website with version 16 and boom it worked fine to the same host, directory and so on, same folders, host , everything, so that tells me the problem lays with v 19 publish ..

Just ran another full test with v 16 and this time I deleted all the files in the directory as if it was empty and v16 Published perfect when i try the same thing with v 19 with all deleted , it wont publish them until they are there..

update I noticed the v 16 had to use scripts or cgi folder nor never uploaded the cgi folder or scripts folder either even if it did not use them.

There are no known issues with WB19, there have not been any reported issues so far by other users.
However, there are many different servers and configurations, so it is difficult to say anything meaningful about this without knowing the exact configuration.

If you need further assistance then please setup a test configuration and share the login details so I can try to help you.

Ok Pablo, I understand I did find where the problems lays thanks to Dreamhost the secure SSH is on by default and that why (they said) it will not create any items by some applications, BUT it will transfer everything correctly if I use the old non secure ftp port 21 connection then switch over to the SHH connection, so I do think its a problem that no one hit upon unless they use SSH the first time port 22 only after that it ..

Thank you for clearing that up.

However, this does not work different than in previous version.
Maybe your firewall blocks the connection the first time?
