This is going to be embarrassing - having packed in any dwindling website work (the real job was far too demanding) back in the WYSIWYG 16 era it appears that, on my return, not only do I have to learn a lot of new stuff but I will need to remember some of the basics !
Currently, whatever (text, image or backgound) I place in a layout grid (other than the header and footer - created no problems) fails to display on preview or when generated to a local NAS where it can be viewed on the network.
Text just dumped on the page outside any grid displays with no problem.
Presumably I must be doing something very basic, very wrong - any suggestions ?

Re: Content doesn't show in flexbox
To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.
Also, please include a description how to reproduce this problem.
I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.
For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

Re: Content doesn't show in flexbox
Noted (and expected - just hoped there might be a simple and obvious error).
Have discovered that the items are indeed there but hiding behind the header (they showed up [decapitated] once they were larger.
I will go and have a further play and ,if still stuck with the revised problem, come back with the project file and clear explanation.
Thanks

Re: Content doesn't show in flexbox
If the items are behind the header, then you may have set the header to 'fixed'.
This will overlap any content behind it. To prevent this you can add a margin to the first floating container after the header.

Re: Content doesn't show in flexbox
You're a star !
Got rid of the fixed header and that's resolved, but would probably prefer to utilise 'fixed header' option - how do I action the margin in the next grid ?
Then I promise to go away and play for a few days before bothering you again

Re: Content doesn't show in flexbox
You can add margin via the 'Margin' properties.
