Hello folks,
I have been searching for a solution to my problem here and can't find the exact issue. I have been using Version 19 of the software and noted that the interface on the Publishing Wizard is different than V18. I have images to show you what I mean here. https://www.gswritecommunications.com/preview/
Essentially the v19 window of Explore shows two small windows where with v18 you have only one big window. That window lets you see the files on the server. V19 gives me Explore with two windows and a Connect button. But it won't let me connect. I can't access the server with this wizard anymore. In version 19 it says password fail.
It's doing this in two client files with 19. Those I have not updated still can utilize the Explore option with no problem.
Has anyone encountered this? Help!!

Re: Explore Option on Publishing Wizard Different in V19?
Whether or not you can publish has nothing to do with the look of the Explore window.
The publish functionality itself has not change, it is only the 'explore' tool that has been extended.
There are be several reasons why you cannot login:
- the ftp settings are invalid
- the password is incorrect (Maybe the web host has changed this)?
- your firewall is blocking the connection
If you need help with this, then please set the log level to 'all' and share the publish log.

Re: Explore Option on Publishing Wizard Different in V19?
Pablo,
Appreciate the response. I found out that I indeed had the wrong ISP address for one of the clients. The other -- still a bit confused. With this situation, publishing is not a problem. The files publish, the site loads; however, I'm used to using the Explore option through the Wizard to see the files on the server; upload as needed. This client file, however, only shows me the small window and the access is denied. Why can we publish the site; but when you use the Wizard to explore, I have issues? I will explore your suggestions. Thank you!

Re: Explore Option on Publishing Wizard Different in V19?
The explore functionality does not work different than in version 18. Only more option have been added.
No one else has reported any issues with this.
However, it is very difficult to help you with knowing your exact configuration, because there are many possible combination of settings...

Understand. Will be revisiting these issues with this new info and let you know how it goes. Sure it's on my end (operator error). Thanks.
