Bulleted List spacing question ****SOLVED****

Post by Fredl »

Hello, I'm using a bulleted list for a section of a page. I used the "bulleted list" from the toolbox and set the number of items, then added the text. It works, but the bullet is so far away from the text that it doesn't look like a bulleted list. Ordinarily the bullet is near the first letter. I prowled around the properties for the list but I can't find anything about spacing or position. Currently the bullet is about 9 spaces to the left of the first letter. Any way to make it closer, perhaps 3 letter spaces? Thanks for any tips you may have for working with bulleted lists.

Did you try hovering over the 'line' that is between the bullet and text? It should change to a different cursor which should allow you to adjust the spacing by holding the right click button and dragging it.

Thanks! That did it, for those reading the trick is to hover over the vertical dotted line to the left of the text, when it changes to a different cursor the spacing can be set. "Padding" in the Bulleted list properties sets the vertical spacing.
I appreciate your help Crispy68!
