trouble with a flex container

could use a little more help

sorry to keep bothering you guys

Im having trouble with a flex container, set up with event to show or disapear with a themable button,
these are on a master page

the flex container will not show when called upon with the button
the rest of the page still shifts like it is there but elements on the flex container and style do not show

not real sure how this is set up, I copied this from another project someone else had set up for me

it was working fine and I can make a new master page by cloning all elements onto a new page from the original project , but that new page doesnt show at all on site (setting pages to new master page)

Is 'visible' checked in the object manager for the objects within the flex container? Simple demo to share? Need to see how you have it set up.
