names in Site Manager and Menu Name

In the Site Manager:
When I change the name of a page in the Site Manager then also the Menu Name in Page Properties is changed into this new name.
When I clone a page in the Site Manager, then a new page appears and has the name of the cloned page plus “1“ added.
But the Menu Name in Page Properties of this new page stays the same as the cloned page.
Also rename the new page in the SiteManager has no effect on the Menu Name of this new page.
But maybe this has a good reason ?

The menu name will only be changed automatically if it's exactly the same as the page name.
