LAYOUT GRID

Post by Jerry »

Hi all

I need your help... been stuck on this problem.

I am working on a new page using layout grids with card containers within the layout grids.
I am also using 6 breakpoints. (Default, 1680, 1024, 768, 520 and 375)
When I preview the page it all works well but when i work on the layout grids in WB, when get down to the 1024 breakpoint I
have one layout grid that will not expand.
I know it's something I have set wrong but I can't figure it out!
Any thoughts?

As always, please post a .wbs file that illustrates the issue. We can't tell from what you've said.

A card container should not be placed inside a layout grid. Those are two different layout systems.
Also, when you are using flexible layout then you normally do not need that many breakpoints. 1 or 2 two is more common.

Thank you for your reply

This is the link to the WBS file

www.edesignsplans.ca/share-folder/icf test.wbs

The layout grid with the red border is the one giving me trouble.
When working on it in WB, it is ok till you get to the 1024 breakpoint.
Also keep in mind this is a work in progress... :)

Like I said when you preview it it works fine in any view point.
Thank you for your help

I guess I better retry this first.

Please move the card container out of the layout grid.
The card container itself is already a flexible container.

Also, the 1680 breakpoints does not make any sense. The default view should be the widest view.

In general, you only need to add a breakpoint when you want to adjust the layout of a smaller screens. So, one of two breakpoints is enough. Keep it simple!
