Hi Pablo

A frustrating one foe me here

Issue:

Unable to select text objects

4 objects in a layer

Embedded Page - Image object- Two Text Objects in front of the Image Object


Can select the Image object but unable to select the two image object (which are set to be in front).

Move the image object over ....and then only then can the 2 text objects be selected.

Probably me me just cant work this out....

Project stripped right back.

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.
Also, please include a description how to reproduce this problem.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

Note that I cannot see what you have done based on the published page (HTML), because the software has thousands of options and millions of possible combinations.
So, there is no way to know which options you have used by looking at the HTML only.

The Image12 has a higher z-index than the text, that is why you cannot select the text.
To select the text, you can double click it in the Object Manager.
Or else, drag the image out of the layer, select Arrange -> move to back and drag it back to the layer.

Thanks for getting back on this.

In the video I sent demonstrating the issue the image was at the very back with the text in front but as can be seen from the video the text could not be selected...

I have found that even when double clicking on the text in the object manager wasnt doing it for me...

However... my own work around is to click on the background image in the object manager (which is set at the very back) to send it to the front and then back again... and then the text becomes selectable.

The other way is to Hide the image... which enables the text to them be selected... move as desired.... Show the image.
