Escaping

Post by jPaul »

Hi Everybody,

I've tried to import a web page in WYSIWYG. Page > Import > Import HTML Page
Entered a URL
WYSIWYG didn't like the URL so it bonged at me, and presented an alert box.
There is an "OK" button but WYSIWYG just bongs at me again and presents the
same alert box.
Bong - Bong - Bong - Bong.
Is there a better way to avoid this than Ending the Task through Microsofts' Task Manager?
Many Thanks,
-Paul-
If I wasn't so stupid, I wouldn't have to be so persistent.

I don't think there is apart from making sure the url is valid ie full reference, not shortend using the likes of tinyurl or bitly or that the page isn't or has php in the source. Note when importing only the text and images will be brought over anything else such as scripts will be ignored.
