***SOLVED***Image Padding in Floating Wraparound Boxes

Post by scribeman01 »

I'm creating "floating" wraparound boxes for my flexible webpage format. I was looking for documentation for how the padding can be tweaked for the embedded object and text within the wrap-text box. Because I have a fair amount of caption content for each of my photos, that this will better than using a Lightbox Gallery. Currently, when I embed a photo, the boundaries are very tight with the surrounding text - it's a standard rectangular object. Thank you for your help on this. :-)

It's not clear to me exactly on what you are trying to do. Can you provide more details on what you did or provide a sample project?

Thank you for the quick reply! I attached a sample project page with the Webuilder file so that you can see the picture in the text box.
1) You will see that there is no white space (or padding) between the image or any of the text (especially to the right of the image). I wanted to add a little white space or padding just to carve the image better.
2) I would like the visitor to click on the grid for a photo pop-up. Do I still need a Lightbox Gallery inplace for that? If so, I could keep a lightbox object for that if i do this, don't necessarily need to have a separate Gallery Page.
3) If I still need a separate lightbox gallery to allow for the pop-up, could I set up a non-publishable gallery page that would still allow me to tap those photos just so I can do a pop-up larger image of each photo?
Thank you Sir!

1. You can add margin around the image via the 'margin' properties.
2. This can be done with a link (target -> lightbox)

Thank you Pablo. When I "float" the object inside the box (since I'm doing a flexible website), the only the "shape" position of the margin child allows me to peruse the margin adjustment. I'm not using a irregular shape. When I use this option, I do see where I can control the padding but the object does not adjust the text around it - runs over it.

You can set the margin via the margin properties. You can access the margin properties of the image via the Arrange tab, context menu or property inspector.
I've tried it with your project and it works for me.
