Keeping master page header and all page titles at the top

Post by AudioBill »

I have a master page with a floating header that contains the main title and menu and a floating footer at the bottom. On each regular page I have a page title followed by the contents below. Currently when I scroll down, the main title/menu and page title disappear. Now I want to make the main title/menu and individual page titles to stick to the top while I scroll down each page. I'm not been able to make that change successfully.

Is there a WWB template that demonstrates that configuration?

Thanks

Bill

Thank you all. It does appear I did not explain my issue clearly.... or I'm missing what you've tried to explain to me.

I can fix the menu to the top. That works great. I simply make my layout grid in my master page a fixed header.

I also have six separate pages. At the top of each page I want the menu fixed at the top. Done.

I also want to put the name of the page in a layout grid to stay at the top of each page just below the menu. This is where I get into trouble. If I set the layout grid on the page to fixed header, it looks right on the WWB design screen but when published, it appears on top of the menu at the top.

Is my desired design possible?

Thanks again

Bill

Try adding some top margin to the grid with the page name. So if your fixed header is 100px then set the top margin to 100px.

That fixed the page title but I could not see the top part of the contents that is located below the page title.

This program is so versatile, I know it can be done.... I'll do some more thinkin :D

Providing a stripped down demo project would really help to see what you are trying to do.

Here is a link to the stripped down version. http://gofile.me/6Ivnu/dz4z4AO4e

This is my first "upload" to this forum. I hope it works.

You have set the layout grid to 'sticky'. There can only be one sticky per page. When you scroll next sticky will become active.

But you can make both layout grids fixed and give the page title an offset by setting a top margin.
