[SOLVED] Correct Settings for Floating Footer?

Post by AliGW »

Another newbie question ...

I would like my footer to stick to the bottom of the viewport (in the same way that a header can at the top) and for the page content to scroll underneath it. I've tried every combination of footer settings and none of them seem to do as I'd like. Is there a way?

Thank you for your patience. :P

Note that a footer cannot be floating and fixed at the same time. it is either floating OR fixed.
To make the footer stick to the bottom of the viewport you can set it to 'fixed'

Thank you. I was sure that I had tried this and it didn't stick to the bottom of the viewport, but now it does.

Perfect - thanks again.
