Animated Headline

Post by Lasa »

I wanted to test this new feature, but I can't seem to get the Highlight- trigger to work.
Animate option works no problem.
If I choose trigger none it will circle the word but not loop. None of the other triggers seem to do anything.
Anybody get this to work?
I'm probably missing something.
Cheers,
Lasa

When using events, the trigger should be set to 'manual'.

If you need further assistance then please share a DEMO project.

Thanks Pablo,
I was trying to use the Highlights own trigger options:
none
on page load
on scroll reveal
manual

The "on page load" nor "on scroll reveal" seem to work for me.

I understand using manual if I create my own event but shouldn't these available options work?

That's why Pablo has asked you to attach an example of their NOT working. They work for me.

If you need help then please provide a demo project so I can see what you are trying to do.

I was putting a demo together and it works perfectly on the demo page, but if I add it to an existing site page it does nothing.
So, it doesn't seem to make sense to send you a demo since it works on the demo.
Weird.

Thank for testing it guys, but now the plot thickens...
I can add Animated Headline to some pages on my existing site, and it works perfectly but then not on other?
Something on some pages is blocking it from working. But it's weird because I am not using any non-WB scripts anywhere on the site.

This is most like because there is conflict with another script on the page.
Maybe you have added invalid custom code to the page?

The browser's error console may give you a clue why it does not work.

I trust that is true...
I removed everything from the page.. and site by select all then deleted.
Then added an Animated Headline to that same existing page.
And it doesn't work...something is interfering on this page but not all my pages.

You're using the wrong Jquery.

Go to Page Properties --> Advanced and choose jquery-3.7.1.min.js. You are using slim which removes many of the animation functionality.
