Visibility in a Form

This might be a limitation or forms, but is it possible to change the visibility of elements in a form?

I have a form and I want to click some text (Notes in this example) and have the text area appear or disappear. I set it up as an event to toggle, but when it click it nothing happens.

If this will not work, is there a better way to do this?

Can you please remove all custom (PHP) code when you share a project otherwise it will take me a lot of extra work to figure out what you are trying to do.

Your demo works for me after removing the custom code.
