The website "shifts" slightly from page to page

Post by ssolis5788 »

Hello,
Newbie here so I apologize if this has already been asked. I'm creating a website for my husband, when I go to preview what I have built so far, the home page looks good, but on some pages when I click on them, the header image shifts slightly - but not on every page. I have tried locating the problem in the html code, but I'm not having any luck. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

Without seeing what you have done or not it is difficult to say. But with what you say about shifting slightly it says you have an object or objects outside of the viewport. See the following: There is a large is empty space at the bottom or right side of my page.

Do the pages that shift have a vertical scrollbar and the others dont?

Hello!
I join crispy68.
I had a similar page behavior until I realized it was the vertical scrollbar. Discussion of the issue at the link: viewtopic.php?t=99758
