Problems with Eastern Europe Languages (Unicode)

Hello! I updated to WB20 today and face some serious troubles now.
My text contains lots of Czech and a little bit of Russian Text. For some strange reason the typical Czech letters, like Č or Ř are suddelnly shown smaller and not in the same font like the rest of the text. The used font "FiraSansCondensed" is supporting Latin-Extended and Cyrillic and it was working perfectly in WB18 - just loaded my old file and the problems started.

The same problem occurs with every font I'm using!!!

Note it is always best to provide a url so we can view for ourselves as a image doesn't really help. Please ensure you have set the charset to utf-8. And for font size it is most likely related to DPI settings please see the following:

There can be many reasons for this. For example, you may not have set the character set to utf-8
Or if you are using Google Fonts then you may not have installed the most recent version of the font as describe here:

Thanks for your quick response! Unfortunately I tried all the solutions... The charset is set to utf-8 and I also installed the newest version of the font.
What confuses me, is that it worked perfect in WB18 and stopped working in WB20. And it works perfect inside WB20, but as soon as I preview or publish it the problems occure. I added my index-page and the necessary graphics as project (ZIP) this time.

For me, your demo project works correctly.

Are you all settings are the exactly same as in WB18? For example, maybe 'Enable HTML encoding' is off?

Does the problem also occur for you when you preview your demo project?
Do you see the problem is all browsers?

Also, can you share the same demo in WB18 format so I can see the difference?

Yes - the problem occured in every browser, and also in the preview, but I could fix it by setting the "@font-face" manually. I didn't change the settings in WB20 - hope they would be imported from WB18. Unfortunately I was overwriting the WB18 file with the new one, so I'm not able to send you the old project. Next time I will make a backup... Thanks for your help!

Maybe in WB18, you did not enabled "host Google font locally" but enabled it in WB20?
"host Google font locally" works best with modern (variable) fonts, because otherwise different subsets are in different files. Which is not supported for local usage.
It does not look like the font you have used is a variable font.

FiraSans comes in different files, like "FiraSansCondensed", "FiraSansCondensedSemiBold", "...Bold" and so on. Guess I tried both - "host Google font locally" enabled and disabled. It was ending in two different results - but both were wrong. Guess I will reinsall my Windows 11 during the next days and try it again. Somehow I'm afarid that I have a big mess in my font directory.

For me, your project seem to work correct when 'host Google fonts locally' is off.
Or else maybe switch to a more modern (variable) font, so there is only one file?

I noticed that there are fonts with which there are problems (and I read on the forums how designers write about this), because when developing the font, the developer made mistakes, some parameters, settings, and requirements were not met.
