SMTP2GO

Post by luishmpaulo »

Hello!

Still having trouble with a contact form on a client's website. Even though I've done all the SMTP settings they suggested, the messages don't reach the inbox (and there's no error message).

The host's Helpdesk staff asked me if the WB program "...is compatible with SMTP2GO?"

I have no idea...

I don't think it is a matter to whether WWB is compatible with SMTP2GO or not it is whether your settings are correct. Please see the following url below reading from "Emails are not arriving in my inbox..."
Forms FAQ

Note the following is from SMTP2GO
Sending via SMTP
SMTP server: mail.smtp2go.com
SMTP port: 2525 (or 80, 25, 8025 or 587 if that doesn’t work).
Username / Password: Turn on SMTP authentication and enter your account’s SMTP username and SMTP password.
Note: TLS/SSL is optional. TLS is available on the same ports. SSL is available on ports 465, 8465, and 443.

Thanks!!

I ended up deciding to test an idea: I recreated the website page where the form is located and removed the recaptcha (from Google).
That's it, it worked!
