How to put texts as if on a layer above a LayoutGrid?

Post by manuelm »

I'd like you to please look at www.ardata.com.ar

At the top, you'll see a layer with an image (parallax) and some text on top.

What I want to know is how I can achieve the same effect and visuals using LayoutGrid instead of layers.

1. Insert a layout grid
2. Set the background image to parallax
3. Insert text objects

In that case the texts will not be "floating" in the LayoutGrid space as they are in layers, and you could just put margins around them to center them.

Insert a layout grid and set it to 1x5x5x1. Then just add the text in the layout grid columns (2 & 3) like you currently have and add some top and bottom padding to the layout grid. Follow Pablos advice for the background image.
