Objects still visible when OFF

I have a checkbox option on a form, which when checked, uses a shape to hide some of the editboxes not required. I have the shape visibilty OFF in the Object Manager, but the shape is still visible with a diagonal checkered pattern on it and I can't see the editboxes under it. How can I make the shape invisible? On my current website, the form is https://www.isacimages.com/contact_us-smc.php and when I check "Backing Tracks Only, it covers the Backing Musicians selections. In the new version of WYSIWYG (20) the shape does not become invisible when I turn OFF visibIlity in the Object Manager. Is there an option to have it completely invisible? TIA, cheers, Greg

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.
Also, please include a description how to reproduce this problem.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

Many thanks for helping out. I will post a small page to show my issue. In previous versions, My site would have a textbox, visible to enter data. I then had a checkbox, when checked (ticked) it would make visible a Shape covering the textbox making the textbox invisible. That all worked well and still does in the new version 20. My issue is in the WYSIWYG workspace: When I uncheck visibility in the Object Manager panel, it turns the Shape into a checkered pattern instead of being invisible. In that state I cannot see the text box under the shape.

Hi, I hope this is enough information regarding my issue:
When opening the project, the visibilty of Shape1 on the Form is turned off. But it is still visible in the workspace showing a faint outline and a transparent checkered pattern.
I would like to have this Shape1 completely invisible on the workspace when its visibility is OFF in the "Object Manager" panel. I don't need to see it at all on the workspace. I like to control its visibility using the check box in the "Object Manager" panel. Is there a setting I can select to completely hide the Shape1 object on the workspace when its visibility is OFF in the "Object Manager" panel?

The URL to the project does not seem to be valid.

However you wrote:

This indicates that you have enabled the option 'render hidden objects' in the view menu.

Many thanks, that was the issue and all resolved for now. My website does block some countries. I don't know yours so it may be one that is blocked. As you have solved the issue, there's no need for my WBS file. Again, thank you!
