Toolbox items are spaced apart

I've just installed WWB on a new laptop with a reasonable (2880 x 1800) screen. I am running at 175% on the Win 11 "scale" (in Settings) to make it all easy to read.

When I load WWB, the items in the toolbox have a lot of space between them. Is there a way to reduce the space so I can see more items without having to scroll?

There is no option to control the spacing. Note that this feature has not changed. This is standard Windows functionality.

Why do you think is it wrong?

I'll post pictures from both laptops tomorrow so you can see the differences. But it's no big deal, it would just have been nice if there was a 'compressed mode' or something so I could see more items without scrolling.

I have checked older versions of the software, but spacing has been the same for years.

Pablo, I am sure it has. It's not a version issue, but a screen resolution one.

This is a screenshot from my old (1920 x 1080) laptop with the display set at 100% in settings.


And this is on my new laptop (2880 x 1800) with the display set at 175% in settings (otherwise it's too small writing for my eyes)


Just for laughs, I reset the display to 100% and this is the screenshot from that:

I think they have intentional made the spacing DPI aware. But I personally do not like the spacing on 100%, it looks better with more spacing.

I prefer the items a bit closer together as it means less scrolling to find what I want. But it's not a deal breaker.
