Not able to install wysiwig web builder 16

Hello. I am trying to install wysiwyg web builder 16 on a new computer, but I get an error message saying it can only be installed on 64 bit architecture. I have checked and my pc is in fact 64 bit. Any help you can give will be appreciated.

It should install without any issues. If this version does not start then your system probably needs the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages install run-time components.

Your PC may be 64 bit, but what about Windows? Is that 64 bit?

I would assume that if it is a "New" PC it will be running Windows 11 which is exclusively 64 bit as standard by Microsoft as no 32 bit available.

Have you tried using 'msinfo32' to confirm what version the version of Windows. Go to start type msinfo32 press enter and wait for the results. It should read as System Information-->System Type this will then show if your OS is 32-bit or 64-bit, or even if it is an ARM-based architecture. If it happens to be ARM-based then see the following

But without more information its difficult to say why it may simply be that it is getting blocked by any AV software installed such a Windows Defender if that is the case you will need to add WWB16 to its whitelist first to allow it to install.

The error message seems to indicate it's the WWB installer checking something and not going any further.

Then if that is the case then WWB will need to be added to the whitelist of any AV (Anti Virus) Firewall installed including Microsoft Defender/Ransomware so that it can run.
