The animation work for me when I load your project, so this is most likely a configuration issue on your computer.

Maybe you have accidentally remove the animation from your system?
Or maybe you have changed the system folder, so the software cannot find the animation?

That's interesting and you are correct.

Using my laptop where it is not working.

I have WB on a second system desktop system and loaded the project on there and it works.

The live website works as well on that one with all browser.. but the live website doesnt work on the laptop and where I am using WB.

Anyone have any ideas why animations are not working on the laptop (Win 11) when they always did?

'Animation effects' on.

Is there another system setting that has changed?

Thanks

If it's not working on one but another then what are the differences in both. Specwise, browser(s) what plugins (browsers) are installed on one but not the other? What AV (Anti Virus) and so on...
As mentioned by Pablo it most likely a system configuration try the following on the Laptop.
Settings>Accessibility>Visual Effects>Turn On Animation Effects

Just seen that under 'Object properties' 'Text' the 'Animations' field is blank. Why would that be?

Background

Always used WB on my desktop > Started using WB on Laptop for a couple or sites but never needed animations.

Loaded site with animation onto laptop, never needed to check the index page for the two animations and have done several edits on the site over time,

So, I would now presume that as the animation field is blank then animations are no being applied.

How do I get the animations back? I would have presumed this was there by default when WB was installed on the laptop which was over a year ago and always updated.

Thanks

EDIT - I still have WB 19 on the laptop and text 'Animations' field shows all the available animations, whilst these do not show in "WB 20

Yes.. all in the same place for WB20 as exactly the same as for WB19.

See video: https://apgraphx.co.uk/wb-test.mp4

Maybe uninstalling WB 20 and reinstalling.. but will wait for your reply.

Thanks

I doubt that reinstalling will make any difference in this case.

It looks like the file animations.dat is missing or empty.
C:\Users\andre\OneDrive\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system\animations.dat

However, it may also be a security related issue because you are using OneDrive.
Make sure WB20 has the same permissions as WB19

Alternatively, rename the file animations.dat, then a local copy will be used.

Thanks for the reply.

I decided to uninstall WB 20, disable onedrive and temporarily rename the existing WB folder in Documents

This now loads the animations so all is working. :D

Thanks for your help.
