After Windows 10 was binned and the horrible Windows 11 intruding into every aspect of our lives I am considering switching to Zorin OS 18.
Could anyone tell me if the web builder will work on that system?

Yes I have read this, but, your reply doesn't tell me whether or not WYSIWYG web builder will run on Zorin

Re: Zorin OS18 compatability
I don’t have personal experience with Zorin OS 18, but WYSIWYG Web Builder is a standard Windows application that runs on Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11. So the question isn’t really about whether it’s compatible with Zorin OS 18 itself, but rather whether Zorin OS 18 can run standard Windows applications.
From WYSIWYG Web Builder’s side, there’s nothing that can be changed or removed to make the program work natively on Zorin. If certain features or technologies used by the software aren’t supported by Zorin (or by the compatibility tools available on Linux), then the program simply won’t work as intended.
The responsibility for compatibility in this case lies with the environment that’s trying to run the Windows program — not the program itself.

As Pablos reply I too haven't any personal experience with Zorin. I do know that it is Linux based and reading from the "Help" it can run Windows applications (.exe) but only you yourself can try by following the instructions they provide.

Pablo has a Linux alternative to WWB. Maybe just try and see if it works for you?Zorin OS is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu with both free and paid versions.
