Lost FTP Details
I don't know if this is something caused by the latest update, but I have just opened up my WWB file for my website and the FTP details that had been saved in the program are gone. I don't know where WWB would have saved them or how to get them back. It has been some time since I worked on my site, as I have had a difficult year, but I wasn't expecting FTP details to disappear. Can anyone help, please?

Re: Lost FTP Details
The details aren't actually stored/saved in the program itself. You will find them in publish settings stored in publish.dat

Re: Lost FTP Details
Maybe you have changed the system folder settings in Tools -> Options -> Files & Folder?
If you change that folder then this will also change the location where the sofwtar is looking for the publish.dat file.

OK, so my system folder is Documents | WYSIWYG Web Builder and there is a publish.dat file in the system folder therein dated 13/02/2025. There is also a publish.log file that tells me that I first uploaded on 19 December 2024 (correct) and that I last uploaded in May, which was in fact correct until today, but I have uploaded a small amendment today, having recreated my (new) FTP details. I have closed WWB and reopened it a few times, and the new FTP details are appearing OK. However, if I view the publish.dat file in Notepad, it contains the old FTP details that have been forgotten,
So, I have absolutely no clue what is going on!
And here's another weird thing: my block library is still within the system folder, but is not available in WWB. What's going on here?

Re: Lost FTP Details
Yes, but not by me.
When I first started using WWB, I immediately changed the system folder to point to Documents on my OneDrive, and when I last uploaded in May, that was still working.
When I opened WWB today, I was offered an update, which I ran, and then started to work on my website. The first thing I noticed was that my FTP settings had gone, then the problem with the blocks being missing - it seems that the software had (for the first time ever!) changed to the default location.
Anyway, to avoid any further issues, I've switched to the default location instead and I have copied across the missing blocks. All now seems to be working as it should.
As I said before, this has never happened with any other previous update.
