Publish using the selected Master Pages/Master Frames ...resets flexbox fixed width

I am using a Master Frame flexbox layout grid with first column set to fixed width 120 and overflow default. In other breakpoints I set the fixed width to 1px to hide it. If I publish selected page only using this Master Frame everthing is fine but if i publish using the "pages using the selected master pages/master fram/embedded page" option it resets the master page flexbox values in each column back to the default breakpoint view of 120 instead of 1. is this a bug and/or is there a way to stop it with another setting or another way to achieve the same result. It seems I can't use the visble checkbox with the fixed width set.

ok created test but could not get it to duplicate. Went back to original and deleted and rebuilt layout grid and now works correctly. sorry I didn't start with the test
