Using version 20.4.0 -
I have a carousel of slides that I have always kept static (manually advanced) by setting the pause time to zero.
Currently, with that zero setting, the slides just flip continuously at a fast pace.
I have worked around it by setting a very long pause time (500000).
A demonstration with the zero pause setting can be found at:

Adding; Here is a live demo also:

Re: Carousel continuous rapid scrolling.
It literally now does look like a quick tutorial
Live demo is not enough I think you should have given a demo project so we could see what you have done.
I checked your slide.js and I think maybe on wwb you have not properly set the interval because it is set to 0. https://timespreader.com/Slides.js?v=270
So that means, interval:0 which means it won't pause.
So, the valid interval for a pause time of 5000 = 5sec should have generated something like var SlideShow1 = new bootstrap.Carousel("#SlideShow1", {interval:5000, ride: true});
Make sure in wwb you set the pause time correctly. On latest WWB version all works fine.

Code: Select all
document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded',function(event)
{var SlideShow1=new bootstrap.Carousel("#SlideShow1",{interval:0,ride:true});});var isMobile=(/iphone|ipod|android|blackberry|mini|windows\sce|palm/i.test(navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase()));if(isMobile)
{location.replace("#");}So, the valid interval for a pause time of 5000 = 5sec should have generated something like var SlideShow1 = new bootstrap.Carousel("#SlideShow1", {interval:5000, ride: true});

By the way 500000 = 500 sec = 8 minutes and 20 seconds. With such delay it is like detention.I have worked around it by setting a very long pause time (500000).

Re: Carousel continuous rapid scrolling.
I think you are confusing the 'Carousel' with 'Image Carousel'. These are 2 different features which use different (third party) scripts.
The 'Image Carousel' does not support an interval of 0.
This option only work with the standard Carousel.

pablo is correct. Even I checked. The result you may be wanting may be found on something like a card carousel.

Re: Carousel continuous rapid scrolling.
I found that manually editing the relevant .js file as follows restores the behavior I prefer:
bootstrap.Carousel("#SlideShow1",{interval:500000,ride:true})
- becomes -
bootstrap.Carousel("#SlideShow1",{interval:false,ride:false})
bootstrap.Carousel("#SlideShow1",{interval:500000,ride:true})
- becomes -
bootstrap.Carousel("#SlideShow1",{interval:false,ride:false})
