Font size mismatch

Post by VictorKrs »

Hello!

Faced with an incomprehensible problem.
At first, I encountered an incomprehensible font size behavior when making changes to an existing website. For some reason, when the information on the site was changed, almost all the fonts suddenly increased in size (instead of 16px, they became 24px) and the line spacing was unstable. I thought that something was broken in the project file.
However, I decided to check on an empty, new project. Unfortunately, the problem persists.
The line spacing (LG's left column) and the font size do not work when previewing 24px, not 18px as in the project file.
Follow the link to the project file illustrating this problem.: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Fpy ... ue&sd=true

Yours sincerely, Victor

I opened your project and the text in both text boxes is set to 12 (which would be 16px) when previewed. This is what I get when I preview so it looks correct to me. If I change the text to be 18, then the result when I preview is 24px which is correct. The sizes listed for fonts is in points (not px). So 18 points is 24px.

For the line spacing issue, open the text properties and set the output format from default to include line-height in text styles.

Font size issues are usually caused by invalid DPI configuration.

This is normal behaviour. The text size you select in the software is in points (pt) but the output will always be in pixels(px). See the following table for reference on pt to px and there use in the program.
