Contact email form doesn't respond

Post by Spinner »

So just trying to do a simple email me contact form.
I want to have this be a pop up box so fas per your instruction I created a dialogue & put the contact form from template inside of it.
Basically it does nothing when you send,
I know the SMTP settings are correct because i have set up many cameras with this mail server
(it would be nice if you had a test button on your advanced tab so you know you have the right settings).
Here is the contact form
https://datapath.us/
select contact

Here is a screenshot of the settings and the WBS file

Okay after some reading looks like Go Daddy may not allow my ISPs Web server so I tried this still does not work

To send emails from a GoDaddy-hosted website, you can use either GoDaddy's own SMTP servers or a third-party SMTP service, depending on your hosting plan and requirements.

For shared hosting, GoDaddy's default SMTP server is relay-hosting.secureserver.net on port 25,

For shared hosting, GoDaddy's default SMTP server is relay-hosting.secureserver.net on port 25, with no authentication required for basic sending.

Firstly, when you share a project, can you please remove everything from the projetc that is not relevant to your question?
Otherwise it will take me a lot of extra work to figure out what you have done

See this FAQ for more details how to share a DEMO project:
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=82134

When using a dialog, the dialog itself should be the form. there is no need to add an extra form within the dialog.
Also, the dialog should not be on top of another popup (lightbox).

Also, the form has no success and error page, so it goes nowhere.

Please read the FAQ:
